- 2 cups green beans
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- salt & pepper to taste

- Bring a pot of water to the boil. While waiting for the water to come to the boil, prepare the green beans by chopping off the tops and bottoms. Add to the water and allow to cook for 6 minutes
- Once cooked, drain the green beans and put them back into the saucepan. Add the butter and season to taste.
